A Simple Cleaning Guide

Let's be honest and realistic about how often we are cleaning our jewellery, we all know what we should be doing, but are we doing it? no, life is too busy. So let's keep it simple and just try to do it better.

Silver and Gold can be wiped down with a jewellery polishing cloth, or washed with warm soapy water [using a gentle soap of course], rinsed and dried thoroughly.

Brass tarnishes more quickly than gold and silver, so use a good polishing cloth, or, it has been said that a ketchup bath [followed by a thorough rinse and dry] will remove any tarnish; although I haven't tried this myself yet.

Gemstones will benefit from a gentle wash using a soft [very soft] toothbrush and a thorough dry.

And that's it....
